Real Madrid enjoyed a WIN

That is a message to Europe!!!

The national and international press highlighted the Whites’ goal-scoring exhibition in Istanbul
Real Madrid could not have had a better start to their European campaign. They thrashed Galatasaray and took the group lead with a hat-trick from Cristiano Ronaldo, a brace from Benzema and another from Isco. An attacking display by the Whites who made the world turn around and take notice and that is highlighted in the major national and international newspapers. They all agreed about the team coached by Ancelotti’s great display. ESPN, for example, highlights that Real Madrid "enjoyed a win that is a message to Europe" and the newspaper Ole had the headline "Walk in the park in Turkey".

The Italians at La Gazzetta dello Sport write about "The Whites’ rout in Istanbul. Isco scores in the first half and Ancelotti's team broke loose in the second with two goals from Benzema and three from the Portuguese". France Football led with "Real Madrid strike Galatasaray down" and say that they "hit them hard out on the pitch".

The Portuguese daily A Bola referred to Real Madrid’s win as follows: "Real Madrid thrashed Galatasaray. Cristiano Ronaldo emerges as leading goal-scorer". Sport.de(Netherlands) said in its headline that "Real Madrid make a sure start in the top level of competition with a clear 6-1 win against Galatasaray" and the match report states: "The win was assured in the second half by Karim Benzema and the super star Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick to turnover the Turkish champions".

On the other side of the Atlantic, ESPN were also blunt when assessing the match: "Real Madrid show their strength in Turkish hell and silence it with goals at the start of another search for 'The Tenth' European Cup. They enjoyed a win that is a message to Europe". The Argentine newspaper Ole had the headline "Walk in the park in Turkey. Real Madrid blossomed in Turkey against Galatasaray: it was 6-1 with three goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, two from Benzema and another from Isco. Great first step".

Marca.com states "Ancelotti’s team abused Galatasaray and put six past them".As.com described Ancelotti’s side as "Team Terminator" and highlighted Cristiano Ronaldo’s, Benzema’s and Isco’s performances, the goal-scorers on the night: "Real Madrid had never won in Istanbul. No visiting European team had had ever scored six goals in the Ali Sami Yen. The sixth goal was a showpiece by Cristiano that took Istanbul and smashed it into the back of Muslera’s net".

The main stream newspapers followed the same lines. Abc had the headline "Whites’ feast in Istanbul". El Mundo highlighted: "Real Madrid strike in Istanbul. A tsunami in the end with a hat-trick from Cristiano, two from Benzema and one from Isco". El Pais said:"Isco silenced the massses. A goal from the man from Malaga unleashed the storm that produced an overwhelming win". In La Razon they wrote: "The Whites put out the fires in Turkish hell. Real Madrid prevailed with infinite superiority and started the tournament with a big away win and finished the match with an amazing Cristiano goal (1-6), who scored three to celebrate his contract renewal". Finally, theLa Gaceta led with: "CR7’s Real Madrid stroll through in Turkey (1-6) but Casillas is injured".
